SRE / Operations

Cavaliba comes with various management tools:

• (remote) cavctl remote management CLI/tools to manage/query a Cavaliba system
• (local) custom django command for cavaliba admin/query from the hosting server/VM
• (local) cavmanage builtin django set of commands for sysadmin operations

You should get familiar with the following tasks:

• backup/restoration of a Cavaliba system and its data, configuration
• IAM, permissions and log review
• Periodic / Maintenance tasks either automatic or to be performed manually
